Stripe is already part of how many teams run their business. Stripe Payouts brings affiliate payments into that same account, so there's no need to route commissions through a separate provider.

It's a third built-in payout option, alongside PayPal Payouts and Managed Payouts with Dots, available on every FirstPromoter plan, so your affiliates can get paid through whichever method works best for them.

How it works

Affiliates connect and verify their own payout details through Stripe's secure onboarding flow, so you never have to collect or manage their banking information.

Paying affiliates takes a single batch. Go to the Payouts page, select the affiliates or commissions you want to pay, and send them all at once.

Whether you're paying five affiliates or five thousand, payouts are processed reliably in the background. As transfers move from Processing to Paid, payout statuses and affiliate balances update automatically.

Stripe Payouts supports the countries and currencies available through Stripe Connect, making it a good fit for international affiliate programs.

Secure by design

FirstPromoter connects to your Stripe account using a restricted API key with only the permissions required to send payouts.

Two-factor authentication must also be enabled before payout settings can be changed or payments can be sent.

Getting started

1. Connect your Stripe account

As a company admin, create a Restricted API Key in your Stripe Dashboard under Developers → API keys.

Under Connect, enable:

• Accounts → Write
• Account Links → Write
• Transfers → Write

Leave all other permissions set to None.

Then, in FirstPromoter → Integrations, add Stripe Payouts, paste the API key, and click Connect.

Once the connection is verified, enable Stripe as a payout method. Two-factor authentication must be enabled before payouts can be sent.

2. Affiliates connect their account

Affiliates choose Stripe as their payout method from their dashboard and click Connect Stripe.

Stripe guides them through adding their payout details and completing any required identity verification. Once they're connected, they're ready to receive payouts.

3. Send payouts

Go to Payouts, select the affiliates or commissions you want to pay, and choose Stripe. FirstPromoter sends the transfers and updates payout statuses and affiliate balances automatically.
